Faylinn is one of the great magic cats of Aldenmor. She has a black panther-like body with deep green eyes and beautiful shimmering purple wings, and appears to be the same species as Lyra (satori). Faylinn was once bonded to the Miranda, but she now runs the Spirit Trail, the only cat to run with the mistwolf spirit pack.
Faylinn was bonded to Miranda, who would eventually become the Dark Sorceress when she betrayed and killed Faylinn. Faylinn appeared near the end of the last book, and showed she bore no grudge to her former bonded and wanted things to go back to the way they used to be. Sadly, Miranda did not want that and refused to re-bond with Faylinn.
